CT images of a patient with hypertriglyceridemia-associated pancreatitis show wast areas of fat necrosis in the peripancreatic fat, mesocolon transversum, and fluid on both prerenal fascias, around the liver. The pancreas itself is enlarged but enhances homogeneously.
