Alveolar pattern, HRCT

CASE

HRCT of lung shows multiple ground-glass opacieties that are centered in the middle of the secondary pulmonary lobule with sparing of its periphery. Note also relative sparing of the periphery of lung wings and upper lung lobes. Chest radiograph shows no pathology.
