Aortocaval fistula, aneurysm of abdominal aorta, AAA

CASE

There is a large saccular aneurysm of abdominal aorta, which is partially thrombosed. The patent part of the lumen (opacified by intravascular contrast) extends to the inferior vena cava creating a thin connection of both lumina. From this point proximally, blood in the inferior vena cava is opacified as blood in the aorta.
