Carcinomatous peritonitis, mixed tumour of appendix, carcinoid and adenocarcinoma

CASE

Massive amount of ascites in the peritoneal cavity together with nodular thickening and retraction of the mesentery are caused by carcinomatous peritonitis from seeding of mixed tumour of appedix (carcinoid and adenocarcinoma). Note also edematous thickening of some small bowel loops.
