Cardiac tamponade, mediastinal hematoma, dissection of truncus brachiocephalicus

CASE

CT shows a large mediastinal hematoma with active leakage of contrast from the brachiocephalic trunk, which was accidentally penetrated during introduction of central venous catheter. Note also large amount of blood in the pericardial sac.
