Congestive hepatopathy, biphasic flow in portal vein, heart failure, congestion

CASE

Dilatation of hepatic veins, thickened periportal connective tissue, normal diameter of portal vein with biphasic flow on spectral doppler, mild enlargement of the liver. These are features of congestive hepatopathy. Chest radiograph shows marked bilater dilatation of the heart shadow, mild congestion, pacemaker.
