Fracture of thoracic vertebra, epidural hematoma of the spinal canal

CASE

A CT of a patient who sustained fracture of lower thoracic vertebra revealed a stripe of increased density in the epidural space anteriorly to the spinal cord extending caudally to the level of L5, which was caused by epidural hemorrhage from the site of fracture.
