Hepatocellular carcinoma, bleeding after biopsy

CASE

A large round expansile mass of heterogeneous soft-tissue density with a thin pseudocapsule can be appreciated in the right liver lobe in segment 7. Following biopsy of the mass, the patient developed bleeding into the peritoneal cavity. The biopsy revealed, that the mass was a hepatocellular carcinoma.
