Meningioma of falx

CASE

This is a typical image of a small meningioma in the cerebral falx. As per usual, this was an accidental finding in an older women. The meningioma has a typical appearance of a well-defined calcified convex mass arising from the inner aspect of the skull. Small meningiomas are usually clinically unimportant, they grow slowly. Female gender predominates.
