Muscular emphysema, pleural effusion, deep sulcus sign, pneumothorax, PNO

CASE

A supine radiograph shows decreased transparency of the left hemithorax due to pleural fluid, bilateral outlining of fascicles of pectoralis muscle by gas (muscular emphysema). Right lateral costodiaphragmatic sulcus extends deeper than usually, which should raise suspicion of a pneumothorax as a complication of placement of central venous line.
