Pericardial calcification, calcified pericarditis, pericarditis calcarea

CASE

Apart from pleural effusion with right lower lobe collapse, this ungated postcontrast CT shows mild thickening of the pericardium that is in some areas calcified. This is usually a sequel of previous pericarditis.
