Pneumatosis of lienal flexure, constipation, skyballa

CASE

Some air can be seen below the left hemidiaphragm, which is more likely contained within the large bowel, because the outline of the diaphragm is thicker than usual. This was confirmed by CT, which also showed that the entire large bowel was filled with tough feces (skyballa).
