Pneumocystis carinii, HRCT

CASE

Septal thickening and ground-glass opacities more in the central part of the both lung wings. In the subacute stage, pneumocystis may mimic lung fibrosis with septal thickening, mild bronchiectasias, and mild distortion of the lung architecture, however, the distribution pattern is atypical for lung fibrosis.
