Reactive arthritis, arthritis in salmonellosis, salmonella

CASE

The radiograph shows nearly normal appearance of the left hip joint with minor osteophytes at the acetabular rim. Ultrasound images however show a thin separation of the joint capsule by fluid in comparison with the normal right side (left on the ultrasound image).
