CT shows a round mass arising from the posterior part of the middle to upper segment of the left kidney. It is well-defined, isodense to the renal parenchyma and contains a hypodense center due to necrosis. Ultrasoud image of the same patient shows that the mass is hyperechoic and well-defined.
