CT shows a large retropertioneal mass located between the spleen, aorta and the left kidney. The mass is well-defined, its periphery has a soft tissue density without much enhancement, and there are hypodense (necrotic) areas in its center. Unexpectedly, after resection, it proved do be a Schwannoma.
