Separation of spinous process of C6 and C7, congenital

CASE

CT shows that spinous process of the sixth and the seventh cervical vertebra are separate and the latter forms a pseudoarhtrosis with the posterior arch. Since the separate spinous process has a well-defined cortex, it should not be mistaken for a fresh fracture.
